The spiritual message we present is a positive approach to life, seeing the good in all people and circumstances. Unity relates spirituality to daily needs, in a practical way, affirming that for every need there is God’s perfect answer.
Our Sunday Service is a celebration of the presence of God in our lives. We encourage and support the individual to look within themselves and find their connection with God. The God Spirit within will reveal wisdom and direction.
Wednesday Night Service, "Faith Lift", Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Charles Fillmore Chapel. Have you ever made a leap of faith? Are you wanting to make one now? How can you know when the time is right to make a big change in your life, and what can you expect along the way? Perhaps you’ve made leaps of faith in the past and didn’t even know it. Join the dynamic ministerial couple Paula Coppel and Richard Mekdeci for their inaugural FaithLift gathering this Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Charles Fillmore Chapel as they celebrate and contemplate the meaning and value of faith. We’ll explore these ideas and more with uplifting music, stimulating discussion and refreshments afterward in the manse.

Kansas City area couples are once again being given an irresistible and affordable way to say "I Do!" As a gift to the community, Unity Temple on the Plaza is offering free weddings, holy unions and vow renewals on Valentine's Day, Tuesday, February 14th from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Over the years, hundreds of area couples have taken advantage of this special opportunity to tie the knot. What better time than Valentine's Day to demonstrate how the power of love can transform your life. Each private ceremony lasts about twenty minutes and guests are welcome to attend. Couples can choose from one of the Temple's three beautiful chapels. A minister, chapel, recorded music, and nuptials are provided at no cost. Unity Temple on the Plaza welcomes people of all faiths and spiritual traditions as well as those not affiliated with a church. Ceremonies in Spanish are available. A Missouri license for all wedding ceremonies is required.
Couples are asked to register in advance, so now is the time to act.
