Finding Words For Feelings, A 3-Week Exploration, Wednesday, July 26, 2017, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, Classroom D. Explore the use of creative writing as a means of self-discovery. Creative writing can be a very useful means of connecting to feelings and can help us express them more authentically and artistically than might otherwise be possible. We will explore journaling, prose, poetry and various writing exercises as a means of self-discovery and sharing.

The focus of the class is on doing and connecting in a safe, supportive environment. Whether writing is new to you or seems second nature, all are welcome. Drop-ins allowed.

U-Thrive: Men's Group, Every Other Monday, July 31 - September 11, 2017, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, Classroom C. Our U-Thrive Men's Group, facilitated by Victor James Dougherty, (as of in June 2017), just concluded a wonderful 5-week closed session and the group is now re-opening to welcome new participants! Playing Big Study & Support Group for Women of All Ages, Mondays, July 31 - August 14, 2017, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, Manse Living Room. Join us for a 5-week book study and support group FOR WOMEN ONLY based on the book, “Playing Big,” by Tara Mohr.

PLAYING BIG IS FOR YOU IF:
You feel a calling or longing to play bigger, but you feel afraid or unsure about the next right steps.
You want to make a positive difference in the world but feel held back in some way.
You feel done with striving to play big on the world’s terms – but you do want to play big according to what that truly means to you.
You wish you struggled less with fear, self-doubt, worries about what others think, or tentativeness around your ideas.
You suspect it would be a whole lot more fun to play big.

Introduction to the Enneagram Class, Tuesday August 2, 2017, 6:30pm - 9:00pm, Charles Fillmore Chapel. Due to popular request, Reverend Nhien will be once again offering her introductory workshop on the Enneagram --a sacred, transformative system of psychology that helps us to live from a more self aware place. This workshop will emphasize the Enneagram from a spiritual perspective, employ multimedia, and include guest panelists who will share about how learning about the Enneagram has served them in their relationships to Spirit, self and others.
